It’s always a “pinch me” moment when our tenants appear on Living Big in a Tiny House!
This week, Bryce’s Tiny House tour features Wendy, one of our members who found their dream parking spot with ParkMyTinyHouse!
Wendy came to us last year wanting to downsize, rid herself of clutter and free up her time.
“I was sick of having so much crap in a three bedroom house!” Wendy says.
Enter- Tiny House life.
Wendy had been checking out our listings from northern NSW right up QLD, but she stopped looking the second she laid eyes on this idyllic property on the Sunshine Coast.
Between the wildlife, peaceful surroundings, and views out over the lake, it was love at first sight!
The host had done an incredible job of setting up the site, including grey water provisions, water tank and a separate power meter- all huge bonuses as more often than not, listings tend to be off-grid.
Wendy applied right away, we put her in touch with the host, and a meeting confirmed it was a great match for both host and tenant.
“The timing was perfect, it was meant to be!” Wendy says.
Wendy chose a really flexible Tiny House setup- a 9.4m ground floor, single bedroom design for daily living, paired with a matching home office pod and deck trailer, all by Sunshine Coast favourites LJM. The two trailers sited together give her the perfect amount of room, and a separate home office she can close the door on at the end of the day- now THAT is how you do work/life balance!
We LOVE the colourful, cheerful Tiny Home Wendy has created, filled with light and character.
