OUR NEW WEBSITE!!
Yes, it's finally happening.
After what feels like a very long wait (if you know, you know!), we're now just days away from launching our brand-new ParkMyTinyHouse website!!
This has been one of the BIGGEST projects we've ever undertaken, and we're incredibly excited to finally share it with you.
The new website includes more publicly available resources, more educational content, clearer guidance on getting started, and answers to most of the questions we receive daily about Tiny House living and renting land.
For our members and hosts, we've also significantly expanded the Resource Hub, with more practical tools, resources, guidance, and detailed legislation breakdowns covering every state and territory in Australia!
In short, we've invested HEAVILY in creating what we believe will be Australia's most comprehensive Tiny House information and support platform. ✨
As part of the new website launch, we'll also be implementing our updated host pricing structure.
This isn't a new announcement. We originally advised our community back in January that pricing changes would be coming in 2026. However, as the website project took longer than anticipated, we chose to delay the increase and continue honouring our existing pricing structure.
With the new website now ready to launch, the updated pricing will come into effect on Wednesday next week.
We know that any price increase can be frustrating, so we wanted to take a moment to explain why this change is necessary and what it means for our hosts.
ℹ️ Our pricing hasn’t changed in almost three years.
When ParkMyTinyHouse first launched, our goal was simple: make it as easy as possible for landowners to participate and help grow the Tiny House movement in Australia.
For almost three years, our host listing fee has remained unchanged at $295.
During that time, we've helped place hundreds upon hundreds of Tiny House tenants, built a community of tens of thousands of followers, refined our screening processes, expanded our support resources, improved our lease documentation, and invested heavily in growing awareness of Tiny House living across Australia.
Like every business, our operating costs have increased significantly over that period. The reality is that continuing to offer the same service at the same price is no longer sustainable.
⚖️ A fairer, tiered pricing structure
Rather than applying a flat increase across all properties, we've chosen to introduce a tiered pricing structure based on the weekly rental amount being advertised.
Importantly, hosts advertising sites under $150 per week will see no increase at all.
We recognise that regional and lower-priced sites can sometimes take longer to find the right tenant, and we want to continue encouraging landowners in these areas to participate.
For higher-value sites in premium locations, fees will increase to better reflect both the income potential of those properties and the value of the service being provided.
Our highest pricing tier will be $595 for sites advertised at more than $250 per week.
But let’s zoom out a bit.
The average host on our platform earns more than $10,000 per year in rental income from hosting a Tiny House tenant.
Many tenancies extend well beyond two years, meaning hosts often receive $20,000-$30,000+ or in rental income from a single placement! 😮
When viewed in that context, we believe a one-off upfront fee of $595 remains extremely reasonable.
It represents approximately two weeks' rental income, on and is often recovered within the first fortnight of a tenancy.
Most hosts spend more on a weekend away, a trailer load of firewood, or a minor farm repair than they do on a listing that may generate tens of thousands of dollars in rental income over the following few years.
🛑 Important note: we don’t charge any ongoing fees
One of the things that makes our model different is that we don't charge ongoing management fees, monthly commissions, lease renewal fees, or a percentage of your rental income.
Once your listing fee is paid, there are NO ongoing charges from us for the duration of the tenancy.
Our role is to help you find the right tenant, provide screening and support throughout the process, and equip both parties with the resources needed to establish a successful long-term arrangement.
Now is the time to lock in current pricing!!
If you've been considering listing your property, NOW is the time.
Current pricing will remain available until the launch of our new website next Wednesday. Once the new pricing structure takes effect, all new host applications will be charged under the updated fee schedule.
We remain incredibly grateful to the thousands of landowners who have trusted us over the past five years. Every host who lists their property helps create affordable housing opportunities for Tiny House owners across Australia, and we look forward to continuing that mission together for many years to come.

I can only imagine how hard you must work to co-ordinate all of this, so well done - your increase is well and truly justified! Thanks for all you do Briony and Team Tiny!! 😘
Awesome initiative. Looking forward to see what's on offer.
