Is there any demand for Tiny House parking spots that are off-grid?

The short answer is YES!
Unlike many of the short stay platforms, we can definitely consider your Host Application even if the spot you have in mind is off the grid.
Around 60% of our listings are off-grid, and we’ve rented many hundreds of sites over the years that require the tenant to be off-grid.
The availability of good quality solar power and battery systems has grown and there are now plenty of options that can comfortably power a Tiny House.
So long as the site has enough open space for solar panels to access the sun, you’re good!
And where water is concerned, most of our tenants will set up a water tank on the ground next to their Tiny House, which is filled either from gutters or a water cartage company occasionally (or a mix of both, dependent on rainfall).
Many Tiny House tenants WANT to live off-grid, and dream of setting up solar power, organic veggie gardens and maybe even a few chooks. Self-sufficiency is a way of life many aspire to.
Setting yourself up off-grid isn’t cheap though- so to make the investment worthwhile, off-grid tenants do generally prefer a longer lease term, like 2 or 3 years. But our leases make this a super simple process with clear expectations.
So if your property has a beautiful spot that’s maybe down the back with no power?
YES you can absolutely apply to host with us!
Do that HERE right now.

So well said! Most Tiny home people want to be self sufficient and off grid etc and create a lovely home and lifestyle in the country or close to with people of similar desires.
QUESTION - What do most people do re the pad or parking platform? Do most people offering land have a suitable location on a flat area with suitable parking location? I have not seen the mentioned often.
