New Host Pricing Starts January 1.

As the year draws to a close, we've taken some time to reflect on what we've achieved- what's worked, what hasn't, and what can be improved.
At ParkMyTinyHouse, our goal has always been to support the Tiny House community and broader industry by increasing the availability of parking spots, and making land rental for Tiny House tenants more mainstream.
Until now, part of our strategy for achieving this was to charge all hosts one low flat fee. While simple, we’ve come to recognise that a one-size-fits-all approach doesn’t always feel fair across such a varied landscape. A flat fee inadvertently gives greater benefit to higher-rent, high-demand locations, while asking the same financial commitment from hosts in areas where demand may be slower or more uncertain.
To better reflect this, we’re introducing a tiered host fee structure based on the weekly rent you intend to charge.
This approach means:
Lower-rent and regional listings pay less
Higher-rent listings contribute proportionally more
All hosts receive the same level of service, support, and visibility
Under the new pricing structure, our hosting fee will represent approximately two weeks’ rent, ranging from $295 to a cap of $595.
Our intention is to encourage confidence among prospective hosts, particularly those with more regional land who may be less certain of finding a tenant, while ensuring ParkMyTinyHouse can continue to operate, advocate, and grow in a sustainable way that benefits the entire Tiny House community.
