The true cost of putting off Tiny House life

Let's try a little exercise- go with me on this.

How much are you paying in rent right now every week?

Now open the calculator app on your phone and x that by 52.

(Seriously- open your calculator.)

That's how much it's costing you JUST to have a bed to sleep in.

Write that figure down in your notes app. (just do it)

Now I want you to imagine it's Christmas (yes, this year!) and you just moved into your BEAUTIFUL, brand new Tiny House. You're so IN AWE about the sheer magic of it, you can't believe this is really your life now!!

If you're following us, you probably need to rent land to make this happen.

So let's do the maths here.

Our AVERAGE weekly land rental is $175 per week.

Multiply that by 52 and the cost of that bed is now $9,100 (yes I've done the work for you- you're welcome).

Or lets say you want to be somewhere more popular, like the Sunshine Coast or SEQ.

Your land rent might be $200 per week- the bed is now $10,400.

OR you want to go ALL OUT and pick a LUSH site with power somewhere dreamy at $250 per week.

Your boujie bed with EPIC VIEWS is now $13,000.

Back to your calculator.

Subtract your Tiny House land rental total above from what you calculated you're currently paying per year.

THAT is how much extra money you're going to have EVERY. SINGLE. YEAR. once you live in a Tiny House.

And THAT, my friend, is the power of living Tiny.

It was never about the deck, the compost toilet, or even the double loft. It's about the LIFESTYLE you can afford to live, once you're not paying the exorbitant rent you're paying right now.

What will you do with that figure in your bank account every single year?

  • TRAVEL the world?

  • SAVE for your own land?

  • INVEST so you can retire comfortably instead of having to penny-pinch?

Do you get it now?

If you WAIT til you're READY- you will NEVER be ready, because you'll never get out of the rent cycle.

Even if you have to borrow to get into a Tiny House (or caravan)- in 7 years (the max loan term) you'll have paid it off and own it outright, and you'll have a home NO-ONE CAN EVER TAKE AWAY FROM YOU, no matter what.

What are you going to do about it?
