Meet Brenton- our Tenant of the Week!

We’re on the lookout for a 2-year+ lease on a peaceful patch of land for one of our Platinum Members, Brenton, a skilled builder, cabin designer and proud dad to his 4 year old son.

Brenton is seeking a secure, nature-connected home base anywhere between Kiama and Nowra, where he can live simply, work locally and make memories with his 4 year old son.

What Brenton is looking for:

Brenton is a carpenter and owner of a small business building custom cabins. His own home is a converted semi-trailer built by hand. While the trailer is being finished, Brenton would ideally rent a caravan to place on the site in the short term, until the trailer home is complete.

The trailer home will be:

• 12m long x 2.5m wide x 4m high

• Fitted with a composting toilet

• Off-grid (but a mains connection for back-ups would be a bonus)

• Desired Lease Start: ASAP

• Lease Term: 2 years+

• Weekly Budget: Up to $150 pw (around $8,000 every year)

• Pets: No Pets at the moment, but may look at a dog in the future

• He will need Telstra phone reception

Brenton isn’t looking to create a garden (he's a little time-poor between business and co-parenting), but he’s passionate about beautiful, functional homes, loves nature and is always happy to lend a hand. He’s happy to potentially assist around the property and be a low-impact, respectful presence.

We've met Brenton a couple of times now in person at industry events and he's a genuinely lovely, gentle soul who just needs a stable home base to be near his son, for co-parenting purposes.
